What makes Korea - The Vegan Cookbook, Joanne Lee Molinaro (German Edition) different
Authentic Korean cuisine - and vegan! Korean cuisine is supposed to be complicated and meat-heavy? On the contrary - it is one of the simplest and healthiest kitchens ever. This cookbook offers everything that not only the "plant-based" heart desires. From basic recipes for broths and sauces to Korean barbecue, noodle dishes such as japchae, dumplings and sweet delicacies such as rice cakes, there is something for everyone. And of course kimchi in different variations should not be missing! ● Over 90 authentic recipes from traditional and modern Korean cuisine ● Poignant stories from the life of Joanne Lee that show how much food and family shape our identity ● Atmospheric images that invite you to roam into the distance What is actually typically Korean? What's the deal with kimchi again? How is Korean cuisine different from other Asian countries? And above all: how does it all work without animal products? Questions like this make one or the other stumble. But not with Joanna Lee. She presents us with authentic dishes and shares her knowledge of Korean plant-based cuisine. So we can not only indulge in aromatic pleasures, but also learn something in the process - and can score points the next time it says: "That's not vegan." Korea goes vegan ● Tradition in a new guise: Over 90 authentic recipes that invite you to enjoy and dream ● Let yourself be carried away: Vegan culinary art meets moving stories and atmospheric pictures ● Whether kimchi, bulgogi or chigae: the cookbook for everyone who wants to rediscover Korean cuisine
