* Shipping costs are only within the German mainland (without island). All orders within Germany are shipped via DPD or DHL. Shipping details and tracking information will be delivered by email once your order is shipped.
** The actual delivery days depend on the carriers. Please check the tracking status directly at the carriers once you recieve the shippment email with a tracking number from us.
*** Refrigerated and frozen products can only be delivered within the German mainland (without island). To ensure that every frozen product arrives safely and optimally chilled, all frozen products are carefully packed by hand in an insulating bag made of a plastic fleece with excellent insulating performance. At the same time, the new product is particularly sustainable because the packaging consists of 80 percent recycled PET bottles. Due to the extra chilled packaging and shipping we ship frozen and fresh items with a flat-rate surcharge of 6.90 €, regardless of the order value and the number of fresh items, in an insulated shipping container with sufficient cooling.

Additional Costs:
1. If you need to make changes to the shipping address, it is free of charge if the parcel has not been dispatch. In the occasion of order has been dispatched from the warehouse, the buyer has to pay for the cost to get the parcel deliver to the right address. Different couriers charge differently, below is the attached price list:
DPD Standard: €4.90
DHL Standard: €5.90
UPS Express: €7.90
*Customer will need to notify DPD/DHL/UPS customer service for the change of delivery address.

2. Parcel has been returned to seller due to wrong delivery address. The buyer has the reasonability to pay for the cost associate with it. Below is the attached price list:
DPD Standard: €4.90
DHL Standard: €5.90
UPS Express: €7.90

3. If the buyer is unable to sign for parcel after 3 attempted deliveries has been made by courier and did not notify courier. This caused parcel return to seller, it is buyer’s reasonability for the cost associated with re-delivery of parcel:

UPS Express: €7.90

Please note, if the parcel is free of postage charger and is returned to seller but require for re-delivery due to error of shipping address or missed delivery attempts. The buyer will require to pay for re-delivery charge. In the occasion of order has been dispatched, but the buyer would like to cancel order; refund will be made to buyer after deduction of delivery charge.

* From a weight of Max. 30kg including the cardboard box and the padding material are basically added (about 4~5kg is calculated by default) or a volume of about 136l, another package is required, for which additional shipping costs are incurred.

* When order reaches either max. weight or volume, we will contact customers for additional shipping costs to be paid. The shipping is on hold till the addtional shipping costs are paid and if the additional shipping costs are not paid within a week after notification, the order is canceled automatically.

* All chilled/frozen products are NOT shippint outside Germany for proper cooling. If customers still want every refrigerated/frozen product to arrive safely and optimally chilled, all refrigerated/frozen products are carefully packed by hand in a high-quality, reusable polystyrene box. Due to the extra chilled packaging and shipping, we ship frozen and fresh items at a flat rate of €6.90, regardless of the order value and the number of fresh items, in an insulated shipping container with adequate cooling. Please notice that we don't guarantee any quality issues such as defrost of frozen products for any international shipping of fresh and frozen products.

Order Processing

Orders are packed only on regular business days (Monday through Friday), with the exception of the German national holidays.
Refrigerated products are shipped on Monday and Thursday. If the payment is received only on Thursday morning, shipping on Thursday can no longer be guaranteed. Refrigerated products will not ship until the following Monday.


Frozen and Fresh products Shipping

We ship frozen products and fresh products with German Parcel Service (DPD), DHL or UPS.

To ensure that every frozen product arrives safely and optimally chilled, all frozen products are carefully packed by hand in an insulating bag made of a plastic fleece with excellent insulating performance. At the same time, the new product is particularly sustainable because the packaging consists of 80 percent recycled PET bottles.For perfect cooling, shipping is done with icepack. This ensures a complete continuation of the cold chain up to your home.

Frozen goods are delivered only within Germany. Delivery to DPD Paketschops or DHL Packstations is not possible.

Refrigerated products are shipped on Monday and Thursday. If the payment is received only on Thursday morning, shipping on Thursday can no longer be guaranteed. Refrigerated products will not ship until the following Monday.




Note: Please note that despite the cold pack, the cooling function decreases after a while during transport and this product can be delivered defrosted on the way. Please keep it in the refrigerator and consume as soon as possible. Do not freeze again.
Note: We only ship cooled articles from Monday - Wednesday to delivery addresses within Germany to ensure delivery before the weekend. Therefore, in some cases, longer delivery times may occur if your order contains refrigerated items. Please make sure that the package can be accepted by DHL upon delivery. We will inform you about the shipment of the parcel by e-mail, so that you may instruct neighbors or other persons to accept it.

As a customer, you are obliged to guarantee acceptance of your ordered goods during this period - either by you personally or possibly by a neighbor. For shipping company, a corresponding note must be clearly visible. If you do not fulfill this obligation and the goods are thawed or spoiled, the full invoice amount is still due.

Please note that between May to October (summer time) we ship all refrigerated/frozen goods only with express shipping to ensure the best product quality and cold chain.

We also recommend express shipping (+ € 3.00 surcharge) as a shipping option for all refrigerated / frozen goods, delivery to the next working day (within 24 hours) after delivery guaranteed to service providers. It is particularly important in summer when the outside temperature is relatively higher than normal temperature. If you do not select this shipping option and the goods thaw or spoil, NikanKitchen is not responsible for this and the full invoice amount is still due.

Since cool and frozen products are temperature sensitive, any damages (e.g. defrost or rotten) caused due to the customer's own mistake e.g. a wrong shipping address are not compensated and the customers are still fully charged for the products and the shipping cost.

Cooling shipment -how it works!
ICECATCH® gelpacks are ideal for the safe transport of your temperature- sensitive products. The water-based coolant that the gelpacks contain can be reused for many cooling cycles without any loss of quality, is made of only non-toxic ingredients and can be disposed of in the normal household waste. All the materials used fulfill the highest demands on durability and are free of harmful substances. ICECATCH® gelpacks are approved for laboratory, pharmaceutical and food use.
